Your Defiance Area YMCA Membership Includes:

Membership Types
Youth Membership
Ages 10-17. Youth Membership does not provide discounts on paid programs.
Individual Membership
One Adult age 18 or older.
Two Person Membership
Any adult + one additional member.
Family Membership
One or two adults, living in the same household, including dependent children through age 26.
General Age Guidelines:
- Members must be at least 10 years old to be in the facility alone (including the drop-in Youth Center).
- Members must be at least 14 years old to utilize the Fitness Center independently.
- Members must be at least 14 years old to utilize the Aquatics Facility independently.
Additional Membership Information
More than ever, busy parents need support. When parents come to the Y for a class, group activity or workout, their kids need a safe, enriching environment where they can build healthy, trusting relationships with other kids and adults. At Child Watch, children ages 6 weeks to 8 years old play under the supervision of caring, trained Y staff. At the same time, their parents are able to relax and connect with other Y members and enjoy healthy activities at the Y.
This is a free service that is only offered to YMCA members. Members must remain in the facility while kids are using Child Watch.
Hours:
Monday-Friday 9:00am – 12:00pm
Monday-Thursday: 5:00pm – 8:00pm
The YMCA welcomes all who wish to participate and believes that financial circumstances should not be a barrier to access. Through our OPEN DOORS program, the Defiance Area YMCA provides financial assistance to youth, adults, and families based on individual need and available resources.

Nationwide Membership enables you to visit any participating YMCA in the United States through your membership at your "home" YMCA. Your home YMCA is the local association that enrolled you as a member and collects your membership dues. We offer this because we want you to reach your wellness goals wherever you live, work, or travel. Restrictions apply, including the restriction that a member must utilize their home YMCA more than any other participating locations.
