YMCA Financial Assistance
The Defiance Area YMCA is a not-for-profit agency that serves the community in many ways. We work to meet the health and social service needs of Northwest Ohio by building strong kids, strong families and strong communities. Y’s are for people of all ages, races, religions, incomes, and capabilities.
Our mission at the Defiance Area YMCA is
“To put Christian principals into practice with programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and bodies for all.”
We believe that our services and programs should be available to the community, with special preference given to children who can not financially afford a membership and/or program fees. Our scholarship program is funded partially by the United Way of Defiance County and by donations from within the community.
